"Sneak Peak" - Adriana & Cyrus Engagement Photos

What a joy to spend an afternoon with this adorable couple in San Diego, CA at Balboa Park! Adriana and Cyrus will be getting married in a few months in Hawaii and my brother, Alan Darmody (www.alandarmody.com/adpblog/) will be their wedding photographer. Since Alan lives in Georgia and I live in California, the lovely couple asked if I would take their engagement portraits...I'm so honored! It was great getting to know the two of them and I wish them the best in their journey ahead. Here are just a few of my favorites from our session.

Headshots - Nilmini Wilkens

Nilmini Wilkens has become such a wonderful, close friend over the past few months. I'm so thrilled that she came with Shastin and I to San Diego for a fun girls night. You are beautiful Nil, and we love you! Thanks for letting me take pictures of you.

Headshots - Shastin Rains

My beautiful sister-in-law and I went to San Diego for an overnight stay to have fun, shop, and stay in a gorgeous downtown hotel. We had a great time and she let me take some photos of her in Balboa Park. Look at those eyes!

Precious Pups

I love the dog park, and the nice people who let me take pictures of their doggies...though the very last one is my yorkie, Bentley, alongside his girlfriend, Bella, who moved to Oklahoma :-(

Sheila Pruehs - Headshots

My beautiful mother-in-law, Sheila, asked for a photo session for her birthday that's coming up this Thursday (Nov. 19). So of course, I was thrilled to give her this gift. You're such a great model and great mom-in-law. Happy Birthday to you!

The Newlyweds - Taylor & Nilmini Wilkens

Taylor and Nilmini Wilkens are some of our closest friends and we had fun spending a Saturday afternoon up at Lake Arrowhead just taking fun pictures and enjoying the beautiful fall colors (which we only find if we drive to the mountains and get out of the Loma Linda valley :-) You two are an awesome couple!!

Happy Holidays!

These three precious pups are such wonderful parts of our families. Charlie is my mother and father-in-law's doggy, Bentley is my pup, and Riley is my sister and brother-in-law's little guy. I actually got them all to look at me for this picture...although this is one of probably 20 shots taken.

Meet Raleigh

Last weekend Brooks and I went with our dear friends, Byron, Shani and Matthew Diehl up to Pismo Beach on the Central Coast of CA for a little getaway from the norm. We had a great time in the cute little beach town. We stayed with Bob and Sylvia Kitto and met their awesome Bernese Mountain Dog, named Raleigh (pronounced Rolly). He is precious, and since he's still a puppy (a very large puppy at that) he flops around with such youthful joy! Here is my favorite shot of him!
